Classification of miniature shafts:
1. According to load: rotating shaft, mandrel, transmission shaft
2. Rotating shaft-the shaft that bears both bending moment and torque during operation.
3. Mandrel-a shaft that bears bending distance and does not transmit torque during work (fixed mandrel, rotating mandrel).
4. Drive shaft-a shaft that only transmits torque during operation and does not bear bending moments or small bending moments.
5. According to the shape of the shaft: straight shaft, crank shaft, steel wire flexible shaft.
6. Linear axis-the axis is a straight line.
7. Crankshaft-the axis of the shaft is a curve.
8. Wire flexible shaft-a soft and variable axis curve.
9. According to the shape of the shaft: optical shaft, stepped shaft, real shaft, hollow shaft.
10. Optical axis-a shaft with the same outer diameter.
11. Stepped shaft-shaft with shoulders of different outer diameters.
12. Solid shaft-there is material in the shaft.
13. Hollow shaft-the shaft has no material.
14. According to rigidity and flexibility: hard shaft and soft shaft.
15. Hard shaft-hard shaft.
16. Flexible shaft-flexible shaft.
